Surely if a tenant has recieved housing benefit for rent and they spend it. that must be fraud as this money is the tax payers money.Can we pursue charges?. Many tenants have said to me its a big temptation to have that money in their account this is causing tenants to be tempted to stealthe money and go into debt.
