Hi there,

I have been contacted, by our tenant, to advise that the shower head fell off the wall bracket (which apparently has been lose for a while, although this is the first time we have been advised of this), at the weekend, into the bath, causing a crack in the centre of the bath, which the tenant has taken on themselves to fill with ronseal enamel sealer.
Am I within my rights to;
1. question why they did not advise me, before this incident occurred, of lose wall bracket, so I could have rectified that, and avoided this happening?
2. request that they do not attempt DIY repairs, in future, and let me know instead imemdiately of any such damage, so I can decide appropriate action.
3. once I have 3rd party advice, if the damage to the bath means a new bath is required, that this should be paid out of their deposit?

Your advice/comments would be gratefully received!
thanks
