Tenants Moving Out
I am selling my rental property and my tenants are due to move out on the 26th March. I have given them written notice and the letting agents have served a Section 21 Notice.
My tenants have found another property to move in to (round the corner) but cannot move in until the 29th March. They have asked if they can stay on for another 4 days until 30th March (allowing one day for overlap of moving their possessions etc). They have been extremely good tenants and are honest and trustworthy people. I am happy for them to stay another four days but what is the correct way to do this? Do I draw up a 4 day AST? or a Holiday Let? or something else?
