Do I need a license?
I have a property converted legally to 2 x 2 bedroom flats. The house is 2 stories high, no loft conversion.
The individual flats about have since been converted to the following:
2 x 1 Bed Flats - first floor
2 x 1 Bed Flat, and 1 Studio Flat - ground floor
First floor occupied by two unrelated single people in their own flat. Boiler shared (housed in communal hallway part of flat).
Ground floor occupied by 6 people.
1 x husband and wife (ground floor 1 bed flat)
1 x mother and son (ground floor 1 bed flat)
2 x husband and wife (studio)
Boiler shared (housed in separate outside garage - part of original ground floor flat, but now not rented as part of the flat).
Is a Boiler considered a shared amenity for the purpose of HMO.
Is this a HMO? Do I need a License?
