I have a number of properties in the immediate area that are severely affected by the explosion. Insurance company says that there is no obligation on the landlord to re-house or pay for temporary accommodation.

My understanding is that if the house is un-habitable as a result of an insured reason, such as an explosion then the landlord/insurance company have to provide alternative/temporary accommodation. Can anyone confirm this?
