New LHA tenant reference checks
I have got a potential tentant interested in my property, the are new claimants of LHA and want to apply for it against my property.
I want to carry out referance checks, but because they are DSS I wanted to know if I should carry out different checks to employeed tenants?
If so please could some one advise what would be most suitable.
they are going to provide gaurantor details and 2 personal references.
They have never rented before therefore I can not get a landlord reference and they are not employed, so I cant get a work reference.
I have asked for 3 months bank statements also, is there anything else I should be asking for?
