Option to renew an AST

Our prospective tenant, through a relocation agent, has asked for an option to renew for a second and third year. The tenant seems ideal for our up-market flat. However, even the best appearing tenant can be a problem, especially with noise, and generally not looking after the flat as we would wish.

If we give these options, can we still retain the right to end the tenancy after one or two years, with the usual two months notice?

Also, the rent is 565 a week. Is this still covered by an AST?
