I have issued court proceedings against a former tenant and his mother, who stood guarantor, as advised by yourselves.
The majority of the claim is for damage caused to the property, I would like advice on how to present my case. I have a inventory signed by tenant, guarantor, (mother) myself (landlord) and an independent witness (colleague) at the beginning, at the end I have nothing signed by the tenant or guarantor, but I have photo's of the damage caused,
Will any witness have to appear in court or are signed statements acceptable,
This case is going to court as they dispute all the claim, if they are absolved for part of the claim only, am i entitled to my couty fees back ?
Basicaly this is my first time that i have had to experiance theese proceedings so any advice, no mater how obvious it my seem may be helpful- thanks
