Dear RLA Team,
I have tried looking at the Forum but cannot find the answers I need.
My outgoing tenant lost a screw to the oven door. Neither the screw nor the oven door can be replaced. The oven is 9 years old but fully functioning. It cost 145 in 2003 and now costs 195 to replace. What would be a reasonable amount to deduct from the tenant's deposit?
I thought:
one third of replacement value, i.e. 65.
Could you please advise?
Kind regards,
Anni
