Clause A2 on the RLA agreement reads, "If at the end of this time neither of us has given the other at least two months' written notice to end the tenancy, it will carry on from month to month until one of us does give that notice. This notice must end on the last day of a period of the tenancy." I presume this means the notice is still two months even when the contract is a periodic. "That notice" in the clause cross refers to the "two months' written notice" earlier in the sentence. We have such a tenancy which ended on 26 March 2013 and it has tripped to a periodic. If we want to serve notice, I presume we can do so now (15 April) and the notice will end on 26 June.
