The more I think about this, the more infuriated I get. It's absolutely barmy for councils to tell their housing benefit 'customers' who are sometimes months in rent arrears, to just stay put while the landlord is forced to go through the months-long process of eviction through courts, etc.

Surely, as a government-lobbying group, the RLA can put some pressure on both national and local government about this? Or has this already been attempted?

It's just infuriating!
