I have four students in a property. We use RLA's AST and Guarantor forms.
One of the students has informed us that his bursary has not come through and he can't afford to stay on.
Firstly, being positive that I can find another student, are there any pointers you can give us for re-assigning the AST ie is there a special form/wording et?
Also - the three that remain are very close and they have asked if they can have a 'say' in who moves in. We have told them that we will introduce them certainly but would it be deemed unreasonable that if they were 'picky' in any way that we can just say words to the effect that its a joint and several lease and if we don't get rent in for that room then they will find themselves responsible for the rent?
Would appreciate any advice.
