Hi there

I am about to let my flat to two joint tenants. However only one of them is currently in the country. Can the tenant who is abroad ask someone else to sign on her behalf and if so how can we make sure this is carried out in a legally binding fashion? A written signed letter from the tenant confirming the name of the person who will be signing on her behalf? Or can we get her to scan in her signature?

Any help on this appreciated!

Best, Yvette
