I had an incident last week when the police obtained a warrant to go into a tenanted property.

The tenant was not home and they broke down the front and back double glazed doors.

The fond nothing and placed a 'NO further action' note on the file. Of course the tenant is very upset as well as us.

They obviously thought they had 'good reason' to break in BUT

Do we have any redress against the police for what is going to cost the best part of 1000 to put right ?

Hope you can help ?

Regards
