Hi All
i moved a friend of the family into one of the props, they were very nice people.
i put a new bathroom suite in,kitchen and carpeted right through and decorated for them.
i moved them in without an admin fee of 100 no deposit and a reduction from 600 to 550 on conditions they would look after the property and do the garden which was abit of an eye sore.
They asked for permission to put fitted wardrobes in which made sense as bedroom is small,i agreed as he knows what he's doing and i trusted him.
2 weeks ago they handed there notice in so i recently went there as had a viewing which she refused to do herself, when i went i had a look around and everything seemed fine apart from doors hadn't been put on as she said they still nneeded the runner and didn't see the point in buying one when she moving out, which i thought was a bit greedy considering what she has saved from me.
When i had the kitchen fitted they asked if they could put an integrated oven and hob in which usually is against my rules as i dont provide cookers anyway but they said if they were to move they would just leave it so i agreed and i bought the extra housing for it and got the guy to cut round the worktops and an electrician to fit it with extractor fan, then she txt me to say someone has offered to buy the cooker but she would give me first refusal if i wanted to buy it instead, i txt her back and said they promised to leave this and she just flipped with me calling me cheeky,i think she is damn right greedy to even suggest this considering she's not updated the garden it just looks a complete mess,i know i was stupid and never got anything in writing but didn't expect her to do this to me,she even bought it second hand or got it for free.
Can i bill her for bench top to be replaced if she takes it and also i had 2 beautiful bushes in the garden and they took them out which are still just lying there all brown which looks messy.
She's had 850 less rent out of me and has the cheek to ask that so what are my options here do you think i can bill her
