Hi I have a situation where my tenant had sublet my flat to another person, tough he did not issue him an agreement. As it happens the police was involved as a result of a dispute between the two people. Both tenant and sub-tenant were asked to leave the property and the keys were returned to me by the police. I now have a situation where the rent has not been paid and the services bills remain outstanding. both tenants are claiming that the possessions in the property belong to them and I have refuced either tenant access until they can prove ownership and pay the outstanding monies owed.

I now have a letter from the su-tenants lawyer threatning me with all sorts does anyone know where I stand regarding the possessions, givenm that the occupation was without my consent and there is no sub-agreement in place?

thanks you very much in advance
