Can you advise us about legal representation available to RLA members

Case history - tenants moved out without any notice whatsoever owing one months rent - it went to court

One year later no evidence been given despite countless requests from the court. Even so the court has been very lenient and has repeatedly extended the time frame for them to comply. They haven’t.

There application has even been refused as they had not provided any reasons for the delay in making the application – even the judge who had given all the extensions in the first place had had enough.

Our last meeting and a new judge this time - instead of closing the case he has turned round and said - the last judge 'got it wrong'! - He has actually re-opened the whole entire case even though we have complied with all request for evidence and the tenants have not. Astounded would be an understatement.

Since this last hearing and one year later the tenants have decided to comply and have compiled a list of things which are untrue.

Any advice as to the best way forward would be most appreciated given the unpredictable nature of what has occurred.

Thank you.
