1 Thanks
Hi I currently let a property to my parents both are retired and receive state pension they recently applied for housing benefit but it has been turn down the reason given because I reduced the rent to help them out financially ,because of this the council say they are not treating it as a commercial contract .we did sort out a rental agreement which was the assured shorthold tenancy type . My parents have appealed but can anyone advise me if I can do any more.many thanks.
