My properties are mainly 2 bed terrace aimed at single households. I am contemplating trying an HMO. I can see the gross yield is much higher. But I wonder about the net yield and the inevitable extra work. Is there an RLA member who can make the case?
My fear is that I will get the dregs of society, high turnover with at least one room empty much of the time, lots of disputes about the state of kitchen left by others, bins etc...
Who can tell it how it is?
