To those with legal knowledge please help!!

A year ago, I acted as a guarantor for my student nephew sharing a house with 3 others. Knowing they would be jointly liable and not knowing the backgrounds of the others and their reliability, I made it clear on the guarantee form that I was only guaranteeing for my nephew. The agents did not object to this so I went ahead and signed the form.

One particular student has been very bad at paying her share of the rent. I have bailed them out once just to help my nephew. Because of this girl, they have not been able to raise the full rent for this month and part of last month. Not for the first time I must say.

The agent is now threatening legal action against all the guarantors. The girl is reluctant to give me the details of her guarantor for me to liaise with to see how best to resolve the situation. The agent is also reluctant to give me the details of her guarantor.
Any advise on what I can do, and where do I stand having agreed with them initially I am only guaranteeing my nephew ?
