Please can you give me some advice. My neighbours conifers have grown in access of 14 feet tall and have inhibited the sunlight from getting into my garden, therefore making the decking very slippery. The conifers are also leaning on my fence which is only 3 years old and I'm not too sure what long term damage this may have on my fence. My tenants have spoken to the landlord who owns this property on at least 3 occasions now and he has said that he will sort the trees out. However unfortunately he has done nothing. Where do I stand legally on this. I know we can cut anything that is leaning into my garden off and throw it back into there garden. How do we get him to cut the trees down to the legal height which I believe is 8feet. Can you please tell me a step to step process. Thank you.
