Im on my easter holiday. One tenant is threatening another with a knife with threats of violence. I m not there so i only have the tenants word for it this is happening. He reported the incidents to the police who are yet to investigate. The CAB (typical) have told him that i should evict the other tenant straight away. Although i can't do this until next week anyway, is this actually legal? At this stage there is an allegation made to the police, who have yet to arrest or charge my other tenant.

I would be grateful to anyone with experience or legal knowledge to let me know if i can legally evict the other tenant straight away. I would be quite happy to do so however i can see this could be a minefield for me if its not legal. I do live in the house but have given them ASTs.
Thanks
