Hi, we have recently had new tenants move into our property (the second lot of tenants since we moved overseas), and we have just had to call out a pest control service as the dishwasher waste pipe had been 'eaten' through and caused a flood, so that was the first evidence that there might be rodent activity. since the previous tenants left 2 months ago and never mentioned a problem (and they had cats), it would suggest that it is recent. bait boxes have ben laid and we are going to see whether there are any hoes that might need to be filled.... with all this in mind, and the fact that no one has actually seen a mouse or rat, can the tenants threaten to leave on health grounds? the house is NOT infested, and it is probably an isolated incident which we are dealing with. any comments/suggestions please.
