I have just had a guarantor on the phone complaining that we have harrassed his son by entering the property to carry out a mid term inspection. We wrote to the tenants on Monday to say we would be inspecting the property on Thursday. The guarantor claims he works for the council and the legislation states the following:

1) The agent has to be invited into the property by the tenant in order to gain access.
2) The agent is not allowed to hold keys for the property.

Please would you shed some light on the above.

Kind Regards

Matt.
