Hi

I rent out a property to a tenant who has been there nearly ten years she is in her sixty's. She has had a male friend staying there who had an operation called X he had become bed ridden and very frail they set the bed up in the front room, he couldn't get to the kitchen or the bathroom which was up stairs without assistance he had to use a commode which was also in the front room, the grandson of the Tenant was his carer. Now X had a fall at the property and eventually pass away the carer is saying that he never recovered from the fall.

John wasn't supposed to be there.

I believe his frailty caused the fall.

The question is can I be sued?
