Good Afternoon All, not one I have experienced and wondered if anyone could assist.

I have a property which is covered by a British Gas Homecare Policy, I had to call them out on 5 seperate occasions over the last 10 weeks about the same issue (constant water gushing out of overflow) they have always diagnosed an issue with the diaphragm and since the visits are covered under the monthly payments I don't think they would have issue to lie and subsequently reattend.

The homecare policy is supposed to be quite comprehensive and covers all heating and plumbing including annual gas safety inspections.

Problem: ..... British Gas have called out today, this time they have advised that the boiler is unsafe and so have blanked off the entire gas. They have advised the tenant that the boiler is unsafe until a new boiler is installed.
We have initiated the Green Deal however this is likely to take some time and as it is a Saturday afternoon I am likely to hear nothing more until Monday.

I obviously want to do whatever I can to get this sorted but there it looks like this might be a timely issue.

Question: ..... What is a landlords obligation when a boiler is unavailable / unusable??
