We have always been asked to use single tenancies in a shared house by our local Universit, or using a a joint but not several contract.
If we have a joint but not several contract I understand that only the first 4 tenants can be help responsible, in this case I assume you would be unable to take action against tenants 5 and 6?
If we go to joint and several can we limit guarantors liability to there own son/daughter.
Likewise if we need to take action against a tenant for non payment does it have to be against all tenants?
Any help advice much appreciated!
