I have received a letter from my local Community Housing Organisation asking questions about alleged damp and mould in one of my properties and for me to explain why I agreed to release a tenant from their tenancy agreement.

Do I respond to their questions?
What actions are they likely to take if I ignore their comments?

There is a small amount of mould which has been removed and the tenant was just a complete whinger hence when they kept asking me to do make the property mould proof but they wouldnt use a dehumidifier which I supplied and they wouldn't open windows to reduce the condensation levels I offered them the get out option which they took.
The property has been re-let and no complaints so far!

Do I risk getting into a battle with my local council if I don't respond?
Should I get the RLA legal desk vet any reply I send?

Thank you all in anticipation
