Hi,

I did a 6 month check the other day and noticed my tenants cats have scratched up the carpet quite badly and are also using the wood window sill as a scratching post.... The cat actually did it when I was there and the owner stopped it and said normally it scratches their curtains. Clearly though it has made damage which will require a lot of sanding down etc. should I say something or just leave it until they do leave and discuss deposit return etc with them? Other than this they are good tenants. I've learnt now that I don't think I will allow pets when we have new tenants! Thanks
