Hi. One of our tenants rang with a change of mob number and to give his notice to leave.
We had heard he was having financial problems and owed money, although he is up to date with his rent. We have now had a call from a company who are known to us, saying he is deeply in debt with them and want us to give them his new mobile number.
How do I stand with that? We would not normally give out numbers without permission, can I give it to them because I know he owes them a lot of money, or should I advise them to get police involved? I presume I would then have to give it to the police if they asked for it?
Thankyou
