We have recently learnt that certain high ranking people have more than one kitchen in their homes.
We do not know if they pay TWO lots of council tax because I have been made to pay otherwise I have to completely remove the kitchen and ALL the pipes before I am exempt. Seeing as people in HMOs have to pay separate council tax for just having simple cooking facilities in their rooms, (correct me if I am wrong) can landlords now start fighting to be exempt as well if it turns out that these officials are found not to be paying two lots of taxes? I know for a fact that once council tax is levied on the place, the landlord has to pay the tax during void periods.

Any views on this?
