I have received several telephoned complaints by a neighbour about the excessive noise being caused by one of my tenants, at all hours. This neighbour has also complained to the local authority and the police.
What is my legal position with regard to this matter? Am I obliged to deal with the noise or the tenant?
Can the local authority hold me responsible for the noise nuisance?
