Dear Sir/Madam,
I have let my flat on a shared tenancy agreement.
One of the tenants is now planning to leave. However, she is refraining from paying her share of the bills.
Although I won't be responsible towards these bills, I'm worried that non-payment of the bills will result in the address of the flat going in a Black List for credits.
I was wondering if I would be legally able to deduct the amount of these bills from the deposit to help the tenant who's staying on; and to save the credit record of my flat.
