does section 21 expire
Tenancy has been on periodic notice for a few months. Rent arrears have built up and so issued section 21 (6a) ( as section 8 success too unpredictable) which expires 4th sept. Tenant has made a couple of payments but still in arrears. Tenant has now offered to repay arrears over 6 months. If i agree does the s21 immediately become null and void ? Tenant has been with me for a few years and i would like to trust them but, I dont want to agree, pay off my solicitor, only to find that they subsequently start missing payments and i have to issue a fresh s21. Many thanks for advice.
