I understand that the government is suggesting that if s21 is scrapped, any tenancies in force on the date that the new law comes in can still be ended with a s21 and that new tenancies entered into after that date cannot be terminated by s21. What if a tenancy has lapsed into ‘rolling notice’ before the date that the new law comes into force ? Will such a tenancy still be allowed to be terminated using s21 after the new law comes into force ? Thanks in advance for any help
