Hi,

I am new to the letting business and have a Tenant who is in arrears with their rent. The rent is 460 pm but they are in arrears by 1881.73, which equates to approx. 4 months & 2 days & 11.49 due. However, they have been on housing benefits at times during the Tenancy (which is now a periodic Tenancy as the fixed term has finished & no new Tenancy Agreement was sent out).
Since 6/10/14 Housing Benefit has been received up to & including 18/05/2015, which still does not fully cover the rent but we have received no top-up payments. The Tenants were in arrears before this date also. What do I write in Step 4 of the Section 8 please?
