I inadvertently opened a letter today from Belvoir agents in Colchester, addressed to a tenant, with regard to a boiler annual safety check.
It clearly stated in heavy type that the engineer would be given a key AND WOULD ACCESS THE PROPERTY on so and so date/time.
Hmm - can they do this?? I always thought one had to REQUEST access and if denied then nothing could be done (apart from elbowe who always manages to find a lethal gas leak??!!)
