Marketing a property in the fixed term
Hi there I have a tenant that has told me via WhatsApp that he intends to move out of his property on the last day of his sixth month fixed term. I want to market the property and potentially get a new tenant to move into the property say 5 days after his tenancy ends. The tenant is a nice person but a bit indecisive and I am worried he could drag his feet a little and not vacate when he intends. Iím worried about signing up a new tenancy straight after his ends. Should I get him to sign a deed of surrender before I sign the new tenant up ? Usually I sing new tenants when they are in the period stage. Many thanks
