Is it legal to put a phrase in the tenancy agreement that the landlord can increase the rent in future if it becomes necessary, or does this phrase go on the addendum? This is just incase the tenant argues that he did not agree to this before moving into the property when he is served with a notice of rent increase at a later stage.
