I was contacted the other day by a company that specialises in claiming money for tenants who have not had their deposit protected properly or within the required timescale. They have asked us(with written authorisation from the tenant) to supply copies of the deposit protection certificate and evidence that we have provided the precribed information etc. within the required time limits.
We can of course provide all of the requested information, but what I want to know is could we charge them for our time in doing so?
kind regards
Steve.
