Hi
I have recently bought a flat (share of freehold) and am unsure what insurance I need. I have other properties but they are furnished student houses and hence I have full Landlords' insurance for building and contents which also covers landlords' liability. The flat however is one of 11 in a large regency house and the management company arranges the buildings insurance. The flat is let unfurnished other than white goods and contents insurance would possibly cost more than replacement of the items so what, if any, insurance might I need to arrange? My insurance broker thinks the buildings insurance is adequate as it includes public liability of 2,000,000 and property owners liability of 5,000,000. Is he correct please?
Many thanks
Hilary
