Our flat is on the first floor, in early Oct., the letting agent and the tenant informed us there was a leak coming down from the 3rd floor.
On the same day when this had happened, the letting agent and the landlords of the top floor both went and check the damage in our flat and
both sides guaranteed everything would be put back the same as it was. Our ceilings and walls in the kitchen, bathroom and hallway have
been affected. The letting agent recently made a u turn and asked us to submit our insurance information for further process. We are not
willing to do so because this may increase our premium next year.

Anyone knows the proper procedure when this happened? We simply don't think our insurance company should be involved? Thank you
