Purchase of rental property
I am considering purchasing an already let property from the current landlord who has offered it to me for a "bargain" price.
The problem is that the current tenant is considerably in arrears but the owner does not want to go through the Court Possession route even with my help.
The tenant has also said that he is unlikely to clear the arrears or even pay the rent if I purchased it!! Just out of interest, if I did buy it, what procedure would I have to follow to possibly evict the tenant?
