Good morning. We had a Gas safety inspection done yesterday and the flue is broken so inspector had to shut down the boiler. The tenant has 3 small children so can't do without heating nor hot water. The boiler may be out of action for a few days - do I need to offer her alternative accommodation? Heaters are easy of course but she will have no hot water. She is suggesting she hold back her rent as she has 'other issues' which includes a 'smell' in her kitchen. We have tried to arrange meeting to investigate but she hasn't been replying but this is genuine of course.
