As owners of a property with share of freehold in a block of residential flats, we are experiencing increasing difficulty in enforcing telecom companies contractual obligations to maintain the integrity of the area of the building where their equipment is installed, to the extent that they are leaving damaged buildings and demanding increased access without remedying the problems their sub-contractors have caused. Our only recourse so far has been expensive legal action and specialist telecoms surveyors to document the extent of their failings.

The Digital Economy Act 2017 and the much-publicised recent emphasis on converting existing equipment to 5G appears to give them 'carte blanche' to ride roughshod over any health and safety issues. As shared freeholders, we don't believe we are the only block with this experience.

Does anyone else have the same problem?
