Interim possession order and Particulars of claim for possession
Hi Fellow Landlords
I wonder if anyone can help me with this. We have an HMO and one of the tenants was in-prisoned and his brother started to using his room and caused problems with other tenants and damaged the property. Neither of the brothers paid the rent so our letting agent issued a section 8 to the tenant and we got them to change the front door lock which stopped the squatter accessing the house.
Now, we still have the belongings of the tenant who is in prison in the room. What do we need to do? Our letting agent suggested getting legal advice and fill in interim possession order and Particulars of claim for possession. Do you think it's necessary to consult with a lawyer for this matter?
I would appreciate any input from you.
