I own a flat with a 99 year lease remaining. There are 5 flats in the complex - all with similar lease agreements from the Head Lessee, The set up is Lessor - leased to Head Lessee who has 5 subordinate (including myself) Lessees. We were paying rent / maintenance to an Agent however, I have just received notification that they no longer act for the Head Lessee as he is declared bankrupt. How does this affect my lease and who should we all be liaising with? Are our 99 year Leases affected?
