Hi, I came across the following statement:"When serving a section 21 notice This notice must be given in writing to the tenant. A notice can be issued more than two months before the end of a tenancy but you should not date it to expire on or before the last day of the tenancy".

Does that mean that if the tenancy started on 1 Sept 15 and ending on 29 Feb 16, the S21 notice given at start of the tenancy cannot expire on 29 Feb? Should it expire on any day after 29 Feb?Does that make the S21 invalid?
