Hi all,

I'm in a position where I need to know about rights of entry, whilst I am a Landlord myself, I'm also renting a property at present (long story so will skip why).

I've recently had an Issue with my landlord letting himself into the property. Whilst the general consensus seems to be that he doesn't have the right to let himself in. I'm struggling to find any reference to this in anything official.

I really don't understand why he is insisting why he can let himself in once he has provided the relevant 24 hours notice. As a landlord I just wouldn't want to do so with the risks associated with being in the property un supervised.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, I'm planning on writing a second letter and would like to be able reference something.

Thanks,

Martin
