Tenant finder only
What is the actual legal position of an agent doing a tenant finder only service?
I have requested sight of the gas cert and epc for the property we are intending on marketing and the landlord has said we dont need these as he simply wants us to find the tenant. Is this acceptable?
This does not sit right for me as if we find a tenant for the landlord and arrange for the tenant to then meet the landlord directly for the keys and the landlord has their own tenancy agreement I would still like to have on our records that everything is above board?
